Hello, my colleagues have noticed what seems to be a bug in how area graphs are presented in Nagios. More precisely, while the graph itself seems to be correct, the unit scale on the left seems plain wrong. Please notice the attached screencap. The highlighted peak sits at 137, yet the left scale shows is at just short of 400. The line graphs don't seem to be affected by this bug. Our Nagios version is 5.5.7.
While this is easy to work around, it caused some confusion among my colleagues and can be very misleading in some situations. I see no mention of this being fixed in versions 5.5.8+.

Re: Area graphs issue
If you have it set to "Area (Stacked)" it totals all of the items present in the graph and the bar on the left shows the total of all the elements.
Re: Area graphs issue
Thank you for clarifying. Is there a way to change the default graph type for all users? We could avoid some confusion in the future this way.

Re: Area graphs issue
You can change the default in Admin -> System Settings -> Theme & Display Tab
However, if they have customized their settings in user preferences, this would override the default
