Monitoring of switch/router ports with SNMPv3

Post by stager999 »

Hi,

I would like to ask you which plugin do you use to monitor the switch interfaces bandwith and errors/discars with SNMPv3. Unfortuately Nagios XI Switch/Router wizard is unusefull since the devices cannont be cloned (uses MRTG).

Hi Stager,

If you're looking for another plugin take a look on the Nagios Exchange. Check_iftraffic64 is a versatile plugin for measuring bandwidth:

Let us know if you find what you need on the exchange, or if you have further questions.
