In version 6 of nagiosxi, rrd performance data will be replaced by database？？？

It has not been fully decide what changes will all occur in XI 6.0, however, I doubt the time series data such as performance data would ever move to a traditional database as it would be extremely inefficient, it may however move to a different data type designed for time series data.
