Report of Services Configured

Post by rajasegar »

Hi,

There is a request to dump all the XI host and service configuration and arguments in a report format.
Does Nagios have any features to do this or any scripts available to achieve this.

Thanks

Hello @rajasegar,

While it's not in report format, the /usr/local/nagios/var/objects.cache file contains the cached copy of all Nagios core object definitions for your server, and is useful for reviewing configuration settings. This file is created each time Nagios is re-started.

Let me know if you have further questions.

Thanks. I am aware of this but I need it in report format for compliance reporting.
Parsing the cache file is something I would like to avoid.

Currently, Nagios XI does not provide a report of all the current configurations. I certainly can file a feature request on your behalf if you'd like.
