Hello @harinarne,

I woulds start by checking the contact settings for those hosts. Are host notifications enabled for those contacts? Did the host go down during the notification time period.

You can review the notification report (search for the host) to verify that Nagios did send notifications. Go to Reports > Available Reports > Notifications.

Lastly, If those contacts are XI users, review the notification preferences ( see image).

Hi @harinarne,

Are you certain the host(s) were down? The next step is to verify that the host(s) went into a hard down state that would trigger a notification.

Please run a state history report for verification. Go to Reports > State History ( type=hosts, select state type = hard , state = down ) and run.
