Physical memory usage critical ...
there're two NagiosXI host, one is production 5.4.11 and another is backup 5.5.11, both have same hardware specification(16GB RAM) and same configuration, the backup host sometimes got physical memory usage critical alert, but another host didn't. what could be the problem?

@xpertech, Are both hosts using the same type of hard drive(speed wise)? Next time when you see the memory usage alert please run the top command from the backup XI and from the production XI and show me both outputs.
I've also seen issues with VM's hosted in various datacenters. When VMware runs maintenance or backups it takes some of the resources away from VMs causing higher load and I/O wait. In that case, moving XI to a different datacenter is recommended.

@xpertech, I checked all 197 top command outputs
, but neither one was even close to 154954MB used. Did you get an email notification saying that the memory is critical and that 97% is used? If so, please show me the service check definition and the command used.
