Is it possible to export the elasticsearch indices to be used in another Nagios Log Server Cluster?
Because a solution might be to export the existing indices to a new functioning Nagios Log Server Cluster.
Yes, you'd need to set up a snapshot repo first and then restore indices from the repo on the new log server cluster.

With the help of one of your colleagues, the problem was solved.
It turned out to be because I disabled auto creation of indices as a step in restoring the nagioslogserver. I had forgotten to reenable it :oops:

Glad to hear it was resolved!
