I am fairly new to all this Nagios Core configuration and it took me a few hours just to figure out how to monitor the port status on the above mentioned switch. I got it configured to check the uptime with the following command: check_snmp!-C Banyan-ro -o sysUpTime.0 and how to check on the port status with this command: check_snmp!-C Banyan-ro -o ifOperStatus.49 -r 1 -m RFC1213-MIB with exception of port 52 can not find that one....I also like to know how I can monitor the CPU, Memory and Fan status of that one. Does someone has this type of switch configured in nagios? Would you like to share with me how I can get it fully monitored as well? What else can I monitor on that switch?
I greatly appreciate any help I can get.
Thank you so much in advance.

I'm not aware of anything for that specific device, but you could try some of the more generic plugins. http://www.techspacekh.com/monitoring-c ... plication/ has a nice step through.
