Hi,
We need to know which servers are Windows and which ones Linux in Nagios XI with “x” servers monitored
The “Host Group” haben´t been updated neither in Windows nor in Linux
Is there any way that the "Host Group" is not updated manually to identify the UNIX and Windows servers?
Then, with this information, the "Host Group" will be updated
Regards
Thank you

Unfortunately there isn't an automatic sort so it will mainly be a manual process to get hosts into the proper group. Finding out which hosts are which OS may take some leg work too but if you look on the host details dashboard, sometimes you'll see an icon that will tell you the OS. XI also has an auto discovery feature that can be used to determine the OS of a host. In my example I only scanned specific ports I know were listening on hosts in a subnet and you may wish to clear this field to scan all ports, add more ports, remove ports, and make other adjustments regarding DNS, exclusions, etc.... Note that a scan can require a lot of time depending on how many hosts there are and the other settings set here.
