send old logs to log server

Post by benhank »

Hey guys,
We have just suffered a major outage on our nagios boxes.
Unfortunately NLS was not set up to receive logs from

Code: Select all

usr/local/nagios/var/ or usr/ local/nagiosxi/var/
I have fixed that issue, but I need to pull the logs from last friday into NLS from 3 different nagios boxes. I thought I say a knowledgebase article on this but I cant find it.

If you click "Add Log Source" and choose "Import From File" you can see the instruction on how to import individual files.

This is a bit of a loaded question, what wasn't functioning? was is the nagios process, out of memory, etc.... there are an unlimited amount of possibilities.
