Operation Center does not save filters except "Additional.."

Post by smersh »

After upgrade to 5.6.2 the Operation Center does not save filter settings except "Additional Filters".
There was a similar report regarding sorting, but pressing "Filter" does not solve my case.

Hi, @smersh. Are you talking about Host, Hostgroup, Servicegroup filters? I checked a few older versions of XI and none of them were able to save these filter options. Were these filters getting saved on your XI before the upgrade? What version of XI did you upgrade from?

My upgrade was from the 5.5.9.
I'm not sure about Host, Hostgroup, Servicegroup filters, but the Service State was definitely maintained.
In any case it's logical to save every field, as even sorting direction is getting saved. But Service State is very important and it's not getting saved anymore.

@smersh, I tested this out on XI 5.5.2 and I was able to save Hide Soft States option as well as Extra Filters.

In the latest XI, Hide Soft States option was moved to the Additional Filters, and can also be saved.

I'm going to submit a feature request on your behalf to be able to save: Host, Hotgroup, ServiceGroup, Service State filters.

I'm speaking about Service State. I'm pretty sure it either could be saved in 5.5.9, or may be the default was "Critical", not the empty box as it is now. Can you please check with 5.5.2; I don't have 5.5.9 anymore.

@smersh, Couldn't save it on XI 5.5.2 or XI 5.5.3. All other VM's I already upgraded to 5.6.2
In the Feature Request I requested all filters in the Operations Center to store options, so this functionality will be added.
