Checking Windows update status in 2016

Hi Nagios Team,

We're in the process of upgrading our servers to 2016. The current method we use to check on Windows Updates doesn't work with the new servers as the powershell script it uses is looking for

HKLM:\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\WindowsUpdate\Auto Update\Results\Install

which no longer exists.

Is there a replacement script or a plugin that we can use to query the status of Windows Updates on our 2016 servers?

I don't have a 2016 to confirm, but from what I can tell Windows 10 uses they same method for updates and this plugin would seem to do the trick:
