Hello @HalimaDiallo,
You have a host and the HTTP service associated with it. From the image you uploaded, the host is in a down state, but the HTTP service associated with this host is OK.
Typically, hosts are checked using a simple ping check. However, in this case, the host might be timing out or other network issues causing the host to be in a down state.
Are you able to ping the host from the terminal? Can you run the host check command from the terminal to verify the status?

Re: Device status ok but not running
Hi benjaminsmith.
Thanks for your replay. We figured out that the network IP was set to to not be pingable.
Do you know how I may transfer data sheet to nagiosxi so that I do not have to manually add hosts and services?
Also do you know how I may set up automatic notifications to come to my contact when issues gets resolved
?
Thanks for help in advance !

Hello,
Can you clarify what you mean by 'data sheet'? Are you trying to transfer configurations from another instance of Nagios or Nagios Core?Do you know how I may transfer data sheet to nagiosxi so that I do not have to manually add hosts and services?
Nagios XI also has the option to notify on recovery. In the CCM, select the host or service and then click on the Alert Settings tab to change the notification options. Also do you know how I may set up automatic notifications to come to my contact when issues gets resolved
