Our Nagios installation consists of 9 XI servers (utilizing off-loaded databases) and 1 Fusion server. I'm planning to rebuild the environment by migrating off of CentOS 6, on to Debian 9.
Though the documentation for backing-up and restoring Nagios XI or Nagios Fusion makes no mention of Debian, is the restoration process the same?
Any advice for a smooth migration to Debian would be appreciated, thanks.

Re: Migrating from CentOS 6 to Debian 9
The migration *should* be smooth, but to be on a safe side (as always), try it in a test environment first. Check the "Changed Operating System Version / Architecture / Family" section on page 12 in the document below:

Running the "restore_repair.sh" script usually takes care of any compatibility issues automatically, provided your Nagios XI server is connected to the Internet. In an offline environment, things could be more tricky.
Hope this helps.
