Hi
In a NLS cluster, what is the recommended size of log receiving in a day to an nls instance? Currently, my nls cluster receiving logs data 18 to 19 GB.
In what situation, I need to think about adding another instance to the cluster?
Thank you
Luke.

Re: Adding another instance to the cluster
This really depends on the resources on the server, how long you keep indexes open and your desire for redundancy. By resources I mean disk speed, memory, etc.
If you have a single instance there is no redundancy, so if it fails, you could lose everything.
If you aren't experiencing performance problems, you are likely ok.
One thing to note, fast disks go a long way, and you can increase memory on a Log Server instance up to a max of 64GB
