Hi,
When I monitor tomcat with the jconsole I've got 91 threads
At the same moment check_tomcat shows 1 thread for the same tomcat service
How do you explain that ?
Please find attached the screen captures
NB : check_tomcat agree with jconsole for memory consumption
check_tomcat doesn't show the correct number of threads

Hi Frédéric GRANAT,
As far as I'm aware, check_tomcat is a third party plugin (actually, I saw at least 3 community plugins using that name), and unfortunately we cannot vouch for its accuracy.
However, have you tried using the Apache Tomcat config wizard? I know we have an option to check active threads, and it should use (roughly) the same method that your management console is using to fetch those statistics.

Hi,
Thanks, apache tomcat wizard is not available in my NagiosXI.
I followed the document : how to monitor apache tomcat with nagiosxi :
https://support.nagios.com/kb/article/n ... i-222.html
I performed the action for "Plugin Executed From Nagios XI Server" and for centos but the wizard is still not available.
Please tell me how to install that wizard.

What version of XI are you running? I will see if it's compatible.
Re: check_tomcat doesn't show the correct number of threads
If you are running XI 5.5+ you can download the attached zip file, go to Admin > Manage Config Wizards, click the Browse button, select the attached zip file, and then click the Upload & Install button.
If you are not running XI 5.5+, don't bother trying to install it, it won't work.
