I was wondering if Acknowledging a host/service issue counts any differently towards the uptimes in our SLA reports, than Scheduling a Downtime?
I see under the Advanced dropdown for SLA Reports, that you can hide Scheduled Downtime, but I'm guessing that does not include Acknowledgments, is that correct?
We run uptime reports for our employee goals and I want to make sure that both Acknowledgements and Downtimes stop the SLA reports from counting the offline time.
Thanks.
Acknowledge vs Downtime for SLA's
Re: Acknowledge vs Downtime for SLA's
SLA reports look at the state of hosts and services and do not factor in acknowledgements.
As of May 25th, 2018, all communications with Nagios Enterprises and its employees are covered under our new Privacy Policy.
Re: Acknowledge vs Downtime for SLA's
Thank you for clarification. I see there is an option to hide Scheduled Downtimes under the Advanced dropdown for searching the SLA Reports, but wanted to confirm about the Acknowledgments.

that is correct, you can hide Scheduled Downtimes by checking that box but Acknowledgments have no affect on the SLA report.jeepsburg wrote:Thank you for clarification.
