In the auto-configuration of unconfigured objects, in the advanced tab, you can select a service template name that will be applied to all automatically added services. If you set this to "foo" and then go change the name of the "foo" template to "bar" then the auto-configure settings still wants to add it to "foo" instead of "bar." This means it's literally taking the name instead of the internal database ID and dynamically looking up the name as needed.
This should be changed so that the name of the template shown always matches the current name of the template stored in the database.

You are correct it is using the name and not the ID in the db. I will add a FR for this it shouldn't be too difficult to adjust it to use the ID.
