I have noticed that sometimes, after an update, the config are no longer available from the GUI.
The files exists in /usr/local/nagioslogserver/logstash/etc/conf.d
But, the GUI is not showing anything.
Any suggestions?
Thanks

Re: Global Config - vanished...
I restored it using the latest config snapshot. I have had to do this 3 times today so far.
Is it just me?
Please advise.
Thanks

Are there any problems when you run the update? If there are problems with Elasticsearch restarting during the upgrade then odd things like this can happen.
Are there similarities between the 3 machines you've seen this on? OS versions? NLS versions?

Re: Global Config - vanished...
The config restore worked. I have a 4 node cluster. Identical systems. I use a Load Balanced DNS name to access the systems so it is possible that it was different machines each time. If it happens again I will look at the process list and make sure that all the processes are running.
I am not too concerned about this right now, so you can close this.
Thanks
