Migrate Nagios Core pnp data (pnp4nagios) to Nagios XI

Post by axvers »

Hi support,

We have two monitoring enviroments:
1. Nagios Core, old one.
2. Nagios XI, new implemented

How to show old performance data monitored by Nagios Core on new Nagios XI?

Can I export performance data from Nagios Core?

Thanks!

RRD files can be migrated to a new system - https://support.nagios.com/kb/article/n ... a-166.html.

The pnp4nagios system may place the files in a location other than /usr/local/nagios/share/perfdata/(/usr/local/pnp4nagios/var/perfdata for example) so take that into account when going through the steps. The hosts and services on the new system must also match the naming on the old system so that XI can find them in /usr/local/nagios/share/perfdata/<hostname>/<servicedesc>.rrd.
