Option to disable making reports on Report Tab until "Run"

Can there be an option to not auto-run a report when you select the report tab? And, similarly, if you change from one report to another, to not actually run the report you switch to? Selecting the Report Tab means you're automatically generating an Availability report. On large systems, this could take a while (and navigating away just abandons underlying resources). Similarly, switching to another report starts that report generating as well.

It would be nice to have an option that doesn't do anything until you've hit the "Run" button. This gives you a chance to select the report and options you want before starting the report generation.

And as long as I'm asking for features (!) can the report options be saved while moving through reports? Especially after selecting non-standard time frames, it can be a pain to have to specify them again when moving to a new report type.

I believe this functionality already exists in XI. Go to Admin > System Config > Performance Settings > Auto-Running > Disable reports from automatically running on page load = checked > Update Settings

I can talk to our developers to see if this is something that they would consider implementing. Meanwhile, you could probably click on the "Add to My Reports" button (the star icon) to save the report. This way, you can walk through the rest of them, and go back to your "custom" report later. Once, it's no longer needed, you could delete it.

Thanks. That solves #1. Doesn't solve #2. It's not the "coming back" to the first report that's the issue, it's moving through the reports looking for different things at the same time intervals.
