Hi,
We have a 3 node Openstack cluster where the services can migrate between the nodes at will
our Nagios team did not know about the other 2 nodes until the cinder-volume service moved itself to another node.
The Openstack team now wants the other two nodes monitored, which is not a problem with NCPA
The problem comes from that they want intelligent set of checks that will check all 3 nodes before alerting that the service is down.
I don't see how to do this with NCPA, is it possible?
Thank you in advance
Jen

Re: Openstack cluster monitoring
Here is what I would suggest, monitor all 3 servers with NCPA, but do not setup notification on these, then create a BPI group for these.
Then run the BPI wizard on this group and you can do the alerting on this check.
