Questions about log server install in vsphere 6.5

Good morning

Can anyone assist me answering a couple of simple questions please for a novice.....

1) I have Nagios Xi enterprise license - is nagios log server included somewhere inside it that i am not seeing or is it a separate beast?
2) I have downloaded the latest ova file and uploaded to my vpshere datastore. The only install instructions i see are using vmware workstation or player? Can I run the ova safely inside my vcenter environment and have it live there?

Sorry - I know these are probably obvious, but i wanted to check in case I am needlesly going to create a new vm

It is a separate product

You can load an OVA into vCenter

Alternately, you can deploy a minimal CentOS and run the fullinstall
