Hi Team,
We're using Amazon Cloud Services. We launched a new RHEL machine and tried to do a manual installation. But in installation guide, it is mentioned that RHN registration should be there before Nagios installation.
Is there any work around or a solution, as we do not have a RHN registration?
Did you come across such situations?
If yes, do you've a solution for it?
Regards,
SHELL Cloud COE

Re: RHN hurdle for Nagios XI installation on RHEL
Our Installer requires registration and that the optional channel be enabled for installation on RHEL.
While not a direct replacement for RHEL, we do have CentOS AMI's in EC2 that can be used

Currently we're using Nagios XI on CentOS which is successfully installed and it's monitoring perfectly.
But we would like to move to RHEL. Can this be possible without RHN registration?

XI on RHEL required registration with RedHat.
