create view using external url

I've been using views with external urls. I'm attempting to add a new external url to my list of views. It works outside of nagiosxi. The url is https://www.ripe.net. I added it to the list of views and when I select it I get www.ripe.net refused to connect. I cannot find anything in the logs, I've search the support forum also a search engine but cannot find anything helpful that can show what is wrong. Can you provide some help troubleshooting why the page is not accessible inside nagiosxi?

It appear that https://www.ripe.net may have code in the page that is blocking it from being loaded in a frame.
