Unable to switch XI graphs to Area (Stacked)

Hi

We are unable to switch XI graphs to Area (Stacked). It remains a line graph.

Same issue in ver 5.6.3 and 5.6.6

Hi @dlukinski,

I just tested this on 5.6.6 in both Chrome and Firefox and it's working as expected. Can you clear the browser cache and try again. If it's still persists, run the tail command below on the Apache logs while you change the graph from line to area, and post the output. Thanks.

Cleaning the cache or using another browser makes no difference.

Hello @dlukinski,

Thank you for sending over the logs; nothing standing out so far. I've check with the other support techs and so far we are not able to repeat the error. Please go to the Graph Explorer again and then launch the Chome DevTools ( F12 from keyboard ) and then change the graph from line to area as before.

From the DevTools select the Network Tab and from here you can watch the ajax calls. Is everything loading correctly and showing status 200. If not please post a screen shot for us to review.

Graphs are switched to area stacked all times, but remain linear (in 1 of 3 XIs we have).
Donw below shown same Graph switched back and force, no changes to Ajax calls

Hello @dlukinskil,

Just to clarify as we might be looking at two separate areas of the user interface. The behavior your seeing is when you go to Admin > System Settings > Them & Display, and select the Default Type for Highchart Graphs to Area. Is this correct?

I'm not able to repeat this on system, but my colleague is, and we are looking into this as it maybe a bug.

Hello @dlukinski,

There is one more place in the user interface to check. There's a setting for this at the user account level which will take priority over the system level settings.

On the server you having issue, click on the username in the upper right-hand corner of the screen and go to Account Information and verify the Default Type for Highcharts Graphs is selected to Area and not Line.
