I need to hide the alias name in the hostname field of nagiosXI webinterface.
Kindly help me to fix the issue.

The alias would always show in the GUI if it's named differently than the hostname. Currently, there is no option to hide aliases. I filed an internal feature request for adding this functionality. Please keep in mind that the decision to implement the enhancement is at the sole discretion of our development team. Thank you!
