Hosts and service groups

Post by elade »

Hi,

I have a Host group called “group A” and in it I have 3 hosts.
I have service group called “service A” and in it I have 35 services from “group A” hosts group.
When I login the XI with "user A" I see all the services (100 services) of all the 3 hosts.
There is any way to remove all the services beside the services in the service group “service A” when I login the XI with user A?

BTW I need those service to be active so other users can see them so disable is not an option.

If a contact is added to a host, he/she would be able to see all of the services attached to this host. So, you need to make sure that contact is NOT added to these hosts, either directly or via a contactgroup. Other words, you will need to add the contact ONLY to the 35 services (but NOT the hosts they are attached to).
