I was able to re-create what you reported.

Thanks! But I found another issue with this version. If parenthost or hostgroup are empty on the host being cloned, the imported parenthost or hostgroup is discarded. In my case, I've set up a template host that has a hostgroup, but no parenthost, that is being cloned. The hostgroup is now added to the existing list of hostgroups, but no parenthost is imported.
