Host Down Message

Hi,

I get this notification that one of the host is down. rta nan, lost 100%

However, that particular host is up. How do I remedy this?

can you ping the host/IP from the nagios server?

I could not. However, I added to allow that particular subnet (that Nagios XI lives on) and I was able to ping from Nagios. Also, now it is showing the host is up.
