How to disable the notification for all servers

Post by grayloglearn »

Hi Team,
How to disable the notification for all servers from start time to end time.
How is possible in nagios core and nagiosXI. I do see in nagios core we have notification disable in process info option. But it's doesn't have any start and end time. Does it possible to put the server with start time and end time nagios core and nagiosxi

If you set a fixed downtime for either Nagios XI or Nagios Core you can specify the start time and end time.

Hi Team,
We know about at schedule down time we have fixed down time. but it is possible when we select the hosts.

I need i don't want select the hosts /hostsgroup. As we have option notification disabled in process info. It will applicable to all host/services.
but there is no start and end time.

Do we have any feature like that ??

Just to be clear, are you wanting to disable the notifications system wide for a undetermined period of time and then re-enable when finished?

No we have start time and End time. That should applicable to all host/services. Notifications should not go between start and endtime on allhost/services,

Unfortunately we do not have a system-wide downtime option. The only way to achieve this would be to create a hostgroup that contains all hosts or *, and then do a downtime for that hostgroup
