Remotely add host with NCPA installed to Nagios XI

Is it possible to remotely add a host to Nagios XI? For example, after installing NCPA on a remote server, from that remote server could the host name be sent to Nagios XI?

There's no official process. But assuming Linux servers, you could have a script that you run after the installation that performs an API call to start setting up the host. It might be a little trickier in Windows, but I bet there would be a way to do it with a VB or PS script.
