Connection refused by host - Please share ur thoughts!

Hi,

The nrpe plugin has been installed in a remote server in /opt/nagios but however the connection from the nagios core server could not be able to communicate to remote server.

Have you checked if NRPE is running on the remote server? Assuming you have check the syslog (/var/log/messages) for hints as to why it's refusing the connection.
