Trying to update to 5.6.7 and had problems. Running CentOS7 with all the latest patches.
First the the web based update button just hung.
https://support.nagios.com/forum/viewto ... 16&t=50416
was a big help in recovering. Taking a server snapshot before updating was also good.
Tried the manual update instructions,
https://assets.nagios.com/downloads/nag ... ctions.pdf
but... got permission denied on line 23..
/tmp is mounted noexec, per security practices, and while that should typically allow scripts to still run, in this case it didn't.
I had to execute the upgrade steps from the script manually, as root, from /root/upgrade and then it worked.
update to 5.6.7

Re: update to 5.6.7
Hello @jwgill,
Thanks for the feedback on your installation. Is it working as expected? Besides setting /tmp to noexec, have you enabled any other security policies such as SELinux on this server?
