Hi Team,
Our Nagios XI server is set up to work on AEDT and will switch over to AEST based on the day light savings. ( As we work from Sydney)
We want to set up an alert which runs on AEST even during day light savings. This is because the team that would work on this is based in Brisbane . Please help to know if there is a possibility to set the time zone specifically for this service.
Thank you.

Re: Timezone for alert
Hi Rebecca,
For Nagios to function properly the time settings have to all by in sync ( system, php, timezone). You could sync the time on the server to an offset of GMT that matches AEST, but that would apply to all alerts.
Also, Keep in mind, you can set the check period and notification period to whatever schedule you'd like in the Core Configuration Manager.
Let me us know if you have any other questions.

Hi Benjamin,
Thank you for your reply. As you stated, probably the best thing to do would be to change the time periods during daylight savings.
