Please run these commands to fix:

chown -R nagios.nagcmd /usr/local/nagios/var/rw
chmod g+s /usr/local/nagios/var/rw
service nagios start

Then send me a fresh copy of your profile, I didn't see it attached in the PM.

Please upgrade to the latest (5.6.7, 5.6.8 will hopefully be out in the next few days) as there are bugs directly related to this and with the counts.
