I am looking for some help on how to configure dependencies. I haven't had any luck using the Advanced Host Dependencies and Service Dependencies so I might need some guidance on how to use those. Here is a scenario I'm trying to solve: remotehost1 goes down and it has a number of services such as CPU, Disk, Memory that continue to run checks but they return either unknown or timeout since the host is not available. How would I configure the services such as CPU, Disk, Memory on remotehost1 to not run checks if the remotehost1 is down?
The remote hosts have NCPA.

support.nagios.com/kb/pdf-505.html covers how you can configure Nagios to not run service checks on hosts that are down.
