Upgrading Nagios Xi from version 5.5.7

Hello we are currently running version 5.5.7 and want to upgrade to the latest version, I am just checking if that is a straight upgrade or if there are any intermediate steps to get to the latest version, Xi is backed up daily but would trigger a backup before the upgrade but is there anything else or can i go straight to the manual upgrade, thanks
