Post by jsalsbury »

Is there a report in Nagios that will tell me who does and does NOT have NCPA agents installed in my environment ?

Not exactly, about the best you can do is go to
Configure
Auto-Discovery
Create a new job targeting the IP range you have
Click Show Advanced Options
In the "Custom Ports" field enter 5693 (this is the NCPA default port)
Click submit

Once the job completes you will be able to see all the hosts found by clicking the "View Host Results" icon to the right of the job
Then you can click the "Show discovered services" to see which have NCPA
