how to copy configurations from one machine to another

Post by wipro-cloud-services »

Hi Team,

We've installed Nagios XI and configured some hosts for monitoring. Now we would like to install Nagios on RHEL. How to copy all those monitoring hosts configurations, contacts, contact groups & access levels to new RHEL Nagios XI server?

Regards,

If the new machine doesn't have any current configurations that you want to keep, the easiest way would be to use the following to create a backup and move the backup file to the other XI machine and then run the restore.
