Need to change hostname for an existing host in nagios xi

Post by mejokj »

Hi Team,

We have changed hostnames of 3 devices for already added ones and tried to apply configuration, but getting failed error. Attached the screenshot.

Go to --> Configure --> Core configuration manager (CCM) --> Hosts --> and tried to change host name.

I have fixed the issue by rolling back to the last good snapshot. Can you suggest me how we can change the hostname without any issues?

Thanks

You are going to have to clean this up to get back where the configuration applies successfully, but in the future you can use the Bulk Renaming Tool
Configure -> Core Config Manager -> Tools -> Bulk Renaming Tool
