Document/Guide to customize the Nagios xi Reports

I am using Nagios XI reports. However out-of-the-box report does not meet my requirements and I would like to customize it.

I am looking for document/guide to understand the report data flow and coding guidelines.

Please share related documents.

We currently do not have any docs for customizing reports, they are what they are at this time. Can you access some of the data through the API instead and programmatically parse it? That would likely be easier for you than taking on the task of writing your own report.
