the connection refused appears to be for 10.129.26.20 port 5666, but your results are showing us all sorts of other computers as well. the telnet appears to be for .66.

on the server 10.129.26.20 can you please run the following, and post the result?

Code: Select all

netstat -na | findstr 5666
additionally, in the nsclient or nrpe agent side on the server 10.129.26.20 - are you noticing anything in the logs?

First, let's get service checks working again. You shouldn't have to restart the whole server. Just go into Services and restart the NSClient++ service. That should clear out all of those CLOSE_WAIT entries in netstat.

What version of NSClient are you running on 10.129.26.20? If it's an older version, it may need to be upgraded.

Hi mbellerue,

I have restarted Nsclient service but this doesn't help us.
And we are using latest version of NSclinet only. However, the same version of Nsclient is working fine on other server.

Please help me in finding other way to solve this issue.

Regards,
Srinija.

What version of NSClient are you running on 10.129.26.20 ?

Also, can you send the nsclient.ini from this server?
