Hello,
We have a few bandwidth checks in place that use the check_xi_service_mrtgtraf command. The check itself is working fine but what we are wanting to do is get an average based only on our business hours. If we try to use the performance graphs we only have the option of a 4 hour or 24 hour time frame. The 24 hour time frame throws off the average that we are looking for because the bandwidth always drops significantly over night and the 4 hour time frame is not long enough. I tried changing the check period under check settings to match our business hours but that did not seem to affect the average shown in the performance graph. Is there any way to accomplish this?

Re: Averages for Bandwidth Check
What version of Nagios XI are you running?
In the Time Period pull down menu, can you select a custom time period to use?

Re: Averages for Bandwidth Check
Hello Tom,
We are running version 5.6.9. If you are referring to the Graph Timeframe pull down menu in the attached screenshot I do not have the option to select a custom time period. My only options are 4 hours, 24 hours, 7 days and 365 days.

Re: Averages for Bandwidth Check
Ah, you are in the Service Status details menu for that one service.
If you go to the Home Menu and click on the Performance Graphs menu, from there, you can select a Custom Time frame for the selected host and it's services.
