snmpd broken after installing nrpe agent

i need help with my linux remote host, we have been using snmp to monitor service for a while now and we notice we had to monitor jmx and jva processes to be able to do this we have to use nrpe and i followed this document

after following all the steps, i still couldnt get my nagios xi server to pull information from the remote host which nrpe was installed on but when ran locally on the remote host i could get the results ok and also the other services stop working which were being monitored using snmp,
i have already checked all my ports and they are listening, i do not currently have firewall on so there is no blokage anywhere, i need to know if snmp does not work with nrpe, i even tried uninstalling nrpe but snmp still hasnt worked, did thesame for snmp by uninstalling an dinstallin but still does not work, all components are up to date
