Resize volume script not working

Post by daviddief »

Hi,

Running the latest XI OVA, patched within the last week or so. Looks like I ran out of space though am unable to run the resize script. Tells me 'This is not the standard NAGIOS XI OVA partitioning scheme' for some reason. Realized there was a problem when i could not run a discovery without failing and see the Monitoring Engine will not start.

I went in and addded another 20 GB space to the VM and just wanted to extend things. Also tried running the historical data dump script and that is not working as the directories are wrong.

Thanks,
David

That's odd. We'll have to take a look at that script and see why it's not recognizing the setup on the latest OVA.

But for now, let's get you up and running. Can you give me the output of df -h

I was able to clear space by dumping the RRD files and dropping the last few backups. Working now.

Okay, if that's an acceptable solution, then I will go ahead and close this thread.
