Web transaction using webinject - perl libraries

Post by ITmon »

Good afternoon all - I'm hoping someone can assist me trying to figure out if i have what i need for this webinject to work?
I have downloaded webinject and unpacked the tar file. It then says inside just check you have the follwing perl libraries

Required Perl Modules for WebInject Engine (webinject.pl)
LWP
HTTP::Cookies
HTTP::Request::Common
Time::HiRes
Getopt::Long;
Error
XML::Parser
XML::Simple
Crypt::SSLeay*

I have no idea if i have them or not? I cannot find any of these things inside the extracted tar file. I can see wbinject.pl and have imported that into the plugins in nagios xi, but does that mean i have installed these libraries above?

sorry, complete novice with perl or any kind of thing like this - just want to start by trying to confirm everything I need to run webinject correctly is installed.

Nagios XI should have all of these already as the Web Transaction Wizard already uses a version of the webinject
