Team,
Need your help to get nagios uptime report.
We have gzipped files from location /usr/local/nagios/var/archives for last month. Now when we are trying to pull uptime report from: Nagios console --> reports --> custom date --> and select respective service group.
Report values are showing zero's.
So we have unzipped one of the file in location /usr/local/nagios/var/archives/nagios-01-25-2020-00.log and trying to generate report from web console. Still the report is showing zero's.
What we need to do to get report from unzipped file in nagios console.
Please help on this.
Help to get nagios reports
Re: Help to get nagios reports
I am able to get required report by select previous date instead of 25th Jan, I had selected 24th Jan.
Is there any way to get uptime report from gzip files ?

Re: Help to get nagios reports
Hello @ibmkenexa,
I would like to clarify which report you are running in XI? Is this the availability report. If you can upload a screenshot, that would help us with testing.
Report data can be either retrieved from the database or the written log files depending on which report and what lookback period. Try uncompressing the logs into the archives folder and then run the Legacy Report to verify that it's pulling the data. Also, take backup or VM snapshot before making changes to your system.
Thanks.
