Our Nagiosxi instance has been using AD for user login successfully for some time and we have had an issue recently with our connection, we are unable to log in and get a error the our server is
currently unable to handle this request
HTTP ERROR 500
It would appear that the AD connection is broken and we can't log in.
Can you assist urgently?

Interesting, I wouldn't expect a broken AD connection to give a 500 error. Are you able to log in as nagiosadmin?
Can you PM me a system profile? To manually get a profile, ssh into the Nagios server as root and run /usr/local/nagiosxi/scripts/components/getprofile.sh 20200220
The profile is located at /usr/local/nagiosxi/var/components/profile.zip. Be aware, the path to profile.zip looks very similar to the path for the getprofile.sh script, but it is subtly different.
