We had an issue with our recurring scheduled downtime this past weekend. Its been set up and running great for years.
It didn't work on 2/29 but did on 3/1. Hmm leap year and on leap day as well.
I searched the Nagios support forum and found this post from March 2016, left over from the last leap year.
It looks like its still an issue.
Will it be fixed in a upcoming release? We are currently running Nagios XI 5.4.12 but will soon be upgrading to 5.6.10.
If not is there a bug fix for it?
Thanks,

Re: recurring scheduled downtime and leap year bug?
Hi Penny,
I checked on this issue, and here's what I've found. Since the time of those posts, we've completely re-written the scheduled backup code in PHP and I'm not aware of any leap year issues so far with the current implementation.
I would recommend upgrading to the latest version, 5.6.12 to resolve.
Let me know if you have any questions or need assistance.
